Hawaiian Brewing Cacao Tea
Hawaiian Brewing Cacao Tea
Delicious when brewed hot or cold, this loose tea is the outer shell of the cacao bean. The fibrous shells are a byproduct of "winnowing," which removes them from the cacao bean after the roasting process. They still retain much of the cacao flavor and theobromine, and make a wonderful superfood tea!
Great when added to coffee, as it can add an extra boost of energy, slow the caffeine crash, and reduce the acidic taste of coffee. Theobromine is also a vasodilator, aiding in healthy blood flow.
Smooth enough to drink by itself or add honey, agave, or any of your other favorite sweeteners.
Pro tip: mix the brewing cacao with your favorite loose leaf teas to customize your own blends!
Made of 100% Hawaiian cacao from our own Ua Hānai Orchards (some packaging may have old farm name of Honoliʻi Estate).

We tried the Hawaiian brewing cacao tea at the Hilo Orchid show this past summer. We have been drinking it ever since! We make sun tea with it and add it to our water that we drink during the day. It makes for a refreshing, lightly chocolate flavored water. We love it!
It’s just the right cacao flavor and smell to fulfill my chocolate cravings and way fewer calories! The husks give flavor an
and withstand two immersions.
I love Cacao tea. I steep in large batches and keep in the fridge to enjoy hot or cold. Drinking a cup before bed relives my leg cramps at night.
I have enjoyed cocoa husk tea before but I must say that this is the best that I've ever had. It's flavor is strong and I really like the fact that I can enjoy it in the evening since it's caffeine free.
